Sing Hosanna
Written by Joshua Blakesley
CCLI Song 5779015
Coming Christ saving One
By Your cross redeeming the world
We will shout hosanna on high
We will praise You will rise
Sing hosanna sing hosanna
You have come to set us free
You are God
Lamb of God sacrificed
You raised Your hands so we might have life
You showed us how, to live and die
We cry out hosanna on high
Sing hosanna sing hosanna
You have come to set us free
You are God
Raise your hands
Raise your heads
Raise your voice
Sing hosanna sing hosanna
You have come to set us free
You are God
You have come to set us free
You are God
Worship Song
Cry Out Your Name
By Jeff Moore
CCLI Song #4095721
Lord I worship You
With all that I have, with all that I am
Lord I worship You
With all of my strength, with everything
Let it be a sweet aroma to You
As I sing this song with the breath You gave me
And I cry out Your name
That’s why I’m created, that’s why I’m created
And I cry out Your name
To renew my faith as I live what I belief
And I cry out Your name
So the rocks will be silent, the rocks will be silent
I cry out Your name unashamed
Scripture Reading………………………………………………………………..Rev. Sharon Henry
Luke 19:28:40 (Inclusive Bible)
Having said this, Jesus went ahead with the ascent to Jerusalem. Approaching Bethphage and Bethany, near what is called the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two of the disciples with these instructions: “Go into the village ahead of you. Upon entering it, you’ll find a tethered colt that no one has yet ridden. Untie it and lead it back. If anyone should ask you, ‘Why are you untying it?’ say, ‘The Rabbi needs it.’ ” They departed on their errand and found things just as Jesus had said. As they untied the colt, its owners said to them, “Why are you doing that?” They explained that the Rabbi needed it. Then the disciples led the animal to Jesus and, laying their cloaks on it, helped him mount. People spread their cloaks on the roadway as Jesus rode along. As they reached the descent from the Mount of Olives, the entire crowd of disciples joined them and began to rejoice and praise God loudly for the display of power they had seen, saying, “Blessed is the One who comes in the name of our
God! Peace in heaven, and glory in the highest!” Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!” Jesus replied, “I tell you, if they were to keep silent, the very stones would cry out!”

Discussion Questions:
- Has anyone ever tried to silence you in your expression of faith?
- How can you better empower others to cry out?
