May 22-25

This year we will be at Lake Comanche Resort.  We have the Sugarloaf site reserved which can host up to 64 campers. The group site has free showers, some shoreline sites, and some partly shaded sites. The site selection will be first come, first serve. Each site has picnic tables, fire rings, pilot poles and there are 10 water faucets throughout the campground. These sites are also just a short walk to the swimming areas and additional restrooms.

  • Lake Comanche Campground has potable water, so you do not need to bring water.
  • There are restrooms with accessible flush toilets.
  • There are free showers.
  • There is a boat ramp and there will be plenty of free time for water sports of all kinds.
  • There are also boat rentals available at the lake.
  • Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash or crated. Please make sure, if you bring your dog, that you bring poop bags so you can clean up after your dog.
  • If you have a guitar, a percussion instrument, and/or songs to sing – bring them! We’ll have fun around the fire with some music.
  • Saturday night we will have an all-camp potluck. Bring your best camp dish to share. All other meals are up to you to plan. You may want to work with other campers to coordinate shared meals.
